Music Collection

The music collection at Queen’s University Belfast is an open access collection which is primarily focused towards the needs of students and academic staff. The collection is located at The McClay Library at Queen’s and consists of over 15,000 books on music and printed editions of music (dating from 1807 to the present day).  The collection also includes over 100 periodicals and over 500 reference works, and bibliographies.

19th century guitar music collection now available online from the Royal Irish Academy of Music

Users can now view online the music contained in the entire Hudleston Collection of printed guitar music in digital format. This is freely accessible via the Royal Irish Academy of Music online catalogue.

ITMA online catalogue now reaches 55,000 records

ITMA has recently added an additional 30,000 records to its online catalogues of commercial sound recordings, books, serials, images, videos, DVDs & ephemera.  We have now reached 55,000 records online.
